1) How does the club work? 

Grateful Mike's Guitar Club is a one-of-a-kind online community with a web platform that includes a Calendar for live group zoom lessons, an organized Classroom of short videos in various categories, and a Community Message Board that includes an Open Mic post pinned at the top for anyone who chooses to submit a video. 

 

2) How often can I see Grateful Mike for lessons?

Mike is LIVE on private member zooms for 3 hours every week!  Each one-hour session is recorded and stored in the classroom to view anytime. The videos have full descriptions and timestamps so you can view what you want to learn anytime. This is a HUGE help for everyone in the club.

 

3) Does Mike work with students individually?

Absolutely. The live zoom sessions are open to the club, but Mike will answer individual questions throughout the lessons. We all enjoy the same music so it's often enjoyable for others to listen in on the answers to your questions. You can also private chat with Mike anytime for any questions, requests or guidance for structured homework. 

 

4) Does the club cover other music in addition to the Grateful Dead?

Yes! Ask about any band or artist anytime. 

 

5) Do I need to be at a specific level to join?

No. The club offers instruction to all guitar levels. Each live session will start at a beginner level and gradually work to the more advanced topics & songs. Everyone enjoys this routine.

 

6) How much time do I need to commit every week?

One of the many advantages to an online community program is you can learn at your own pace. The live sessions are not rollover classes so you can choose to see Mike at your convenience, and the classroom is easy to navigate. You can just pick up where you left off.

1) What types of videos are in the classroom? 
The classroom contains many different categories, including chords, lead guitar, theory, rhythm, songs and specific sections for beginner and advanced guitar.

2) Tell me more about the new weekly videos? 
Every Monday, for my premium members I will submit a new lesson video in the classroom category called Monday Songs. Every Tuesday for my premium members, I will submit a new lesson video in the classroom category called Tuesday Tips which can be viewed anytime.

3) Will I get to meet other people in the club? 
Absolutely! There is a discussion board that is open for all members to chat about anything - Guitar, Dead-related topics, even possible meetups! You can also meet on our monthly Live Zoom! 

4) What if I want to ask you a question directly or get some feedback? 
I hope to see you on our monthly Live sessions. Also- feel free to use the discussion board feature for questions. If you feel you would like to have more interaction or want to message me privately for specific feedback, consider upgrading to the VIP Club.

5) Will I get to study with you live? 

Yes, you can meet Mike and ask questions every First Monday of the month. On the live zoom you can get a better feel for the teaching style and what it's like to join live with the club before upgrading to the Premium or VIP Club.

6) How do I upgrade to the Premium Club or VIP Club? 
Free Members can upgrade anytime within the Skool platform to the Premium Club. For VIP access, send an email to mike@gratefulmike.com to let me know you are ready to take your playing to the next level. We will chat about your goals and determine if it’s a good fit.

7) Can I cancel anytime? 

Yes, if you’d like to cancel your membership, you can cancel your membership right on the Club Page.
